I was curious to know what in the blazes Pants-on-the-Ground was all about and so I set about finding out. Have you ever started something and wished you hadn't? LOL This was one of those times. American Idol contestant ‘General’ Larry Platt’s song mocking contemporary street fashion has inspired a slew of different versions on You Tube. Simon Cowell of American Idol predicted that it may become a hit and it seems now with everyone  singing it, he wasn't wrong! Even Jimmy Fallon got in on the act by channeling Neil Young singing another version of Pants on the Ground. From Pants to Pant Buttons
Buttons...all shapes and sizes. Plastic, lucite, metallic, fabric covered. I have started a collection. Buttons make great fasteners for beaded bracelets, centerpieces for rings, and interesting drops for earrings. I collect buttons from local thrift stores, garagle sales, antique stores etc. If I have to buy the garment to get the buttons, I make sure I recycle the fabric as well.
